Scavengers Journey

Scavengers Journey is a three-day secondhand shopping experience where you can hunt for treasures for all genders and ages. Explore curated clothing, accessories, and unique finds, then purchase your items by free-will donation. Every dollar given goes directly toward funding more art classes in Geddes and surrounding communities.

Rooted: A Prairie Arts Weekend

A Prairie Arts Weekend is a three-day celebration of art, nature, and community. Join us for gallery time, a special reception for our Creative Aging class, and a full weekend of art and wellness in the park.

Itinerary:

Friday, July 10

  • 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Gallery & Store Open
    Browse artwork, handmade goods, and creative pieces in our gallery/store.

  • 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Creative Aging Reception
    Celebrate our Creative Aging art class with a relaxed reception. View their finished artwork, meet classmates and families, and enjoy time together in a welcoming space.

Saturday, July 11

  • 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Art in the Park
    Stroll through the park and visit art and wellness vendors, makers, and a local farmers market.

  • Throughout the Day: Yoga & Wellness Sessions
    Join gentle yoga and wellness classes designed to help you slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the prairie landscape.

Sunday, July 12

  • 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Art in the Park Continues
    Keep exploring vendors, makers, and the farmers market in the park.

  • Throughout the Day: Yoga & Wellness Sessions
    Additional yoga and wellness offerings to close out the weekend feeling grounded and inspired.

Fur Traders Days: Art in the Park

Fur Traders Art in the Park is a two-day outdoor market filled with art, crafts, and local flavor. Wander through the park to meet makers, explore handmade work, and pick up fresh goods from our farmers market.

  • Dates: August 8 & 9

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day

  • Location: Geddes City Park

  • Cost: Free to attend

Expect a mix of art and craft vendors, local produce, and a relaxed, small-town atmosphere that invites you to linger, visit, and enjoy the day.
